An e-commerce summer camp led by Wayne State University that works to prepare high schoolers for college has been a success.
Excerpt:
Ronald Watters, the program's director, has been with the camp since
its inception and said 207 students have enrolled in the program. Just
five campers have failed to complete the full session.
Of the 202 students who have made it through, Watters said, 175 are in college.
"My
expectations are high," Watters said. "Our expectations are that the
students will graduate high school and go on to college after taking
the program."
